'Fae Fields Tae Fuel'
Book & DVD

Thurso High School has just published a book and DVD entitled "Fae Fields to Fuel" which was launched at a special event at the High School on August 21st. The book, about life in Caithness before Dounreay and the impact Dounreay has made on Caithness life, was written by a team of 6th Year Students to mark the School’s 50th Anniversary. One of the authors of the book is ex-pupil Rachel Tolworthy pictured with school Head Teacher Dr Fiona Grant.
The people who feature in the DVD were presented with a copy at the book launch. John Thurso, MP and Jamie Stone, MSP, both wrote forewords for the book and Jamie attended the launch event.
The book and DVD will make an ideal Christmas present and is a real bargain at only £6.99 for both. An order form can be downloaded from the site by clicking link above.
